OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

DOES NOT TURN ON

When an electric stove doesn’t start, ensure the appliance power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are on. You should check the pilot light for gas models. If the oven power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, that means a different part will need to be fixed. The cause of the issue could be the infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner with no produce heat will not do much. Your oven will not heat if there is a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. Your burner does not ignite when an element breaks or if the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We know how to troubleshoot and repair these common problems in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

TIMER ISSUES

It’s reasonable to assume the control panel on a stove is broken if the program or timer settings do not work. If that is the case, we know how to repair control panels for LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands and models of ovens, ranges and stoves. We offer a warranty on control panels and manufacturer replacement parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS TOO HOT

You should have a hot oven. Although not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it might be due to a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our technicians know how to diagnose the reason for the problem and fix it. Just be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is that an igniter glows but will not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We determine whether we can repair these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning types of ovens are known to experience door issues often. The door won’t open after the oven cleans itself. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to identify why the door won’t open up and then we complete the repair so we can fix the issue.
